Ok, I am here to admit that I am and will be forever addicted to Starbucks. Each morning for the last few months, I stop on my way to work to order a Grande, White Chocolate Mocha. Each morning, no matter how rushed and stressed out I am getting all the kids ready, this would give me something to look forward to. This is my pure relaxation.
Well, the price is not pleasant. I located the recipes for many of Starbucks concoctions. Yesterday morning I tried my favorite. Yucky... The recipe called for melted white chocolate chips and whole milk. It was not the same as the nice and smooth tasting drink that I receive at the local store.
What is a girl to do? I wish, well I wish that life was so simple and I had my own personal barista in my kitchen that would make me my lovely coffee.
Till next time.

I have had this same problem!! I used the be addictd to White chocolate Mochas & then I read something that said I'd be better off witha latte (for the calories) So, I switched the a Skinny Vanilla Latte (sugar free). NOW, it is the pumpkin spice latte!! - made with skim :)
Anyways, I think Ghiradelli makes a white chocolate sauce for the mochas at home.
Good Luck!
It's the reason I feel guilty getting my nails done or a pedicure... I feel selfish, so I skip it. Once in a while I'll tell myself I deserve it, and so I'll do it. Then I feel guilty. What's a girl to do?
I'll send you some coupons for free Coffee mate, not quite the same, but it helps!!
That would be nice wouldn't it?

I've only mastered a couple of their recipes but certainly not the white chocolate mocha. What I love about Starbucks is that it just makes you 'feel' trendier and cooler somehow. It's kind of like how Whole Foods makes you feel healthier just by entering the front door. I can't imagine how cool I might be if I visited Starbucks every day. Hmm ... something to ponder :)
I love a Caramel Machiato! I would never dream of trying to make one at home, but i rarely ever go to Starbucks anyway.
I hope by the time you get ready to be registered in region that Amy and myself have paved the way for you to have a very smooth process!
Wishing you all the best!!
Hugs and God Bless,
Angie
